Maple Ridge motorcyclist airlifted to hospital

A motorcyclist who collided with a car on 208th Street at 123rd Avenue in Maple Ridge this afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., has been airlifted to hospital. According to unconfirmed reports, his leg may have been amputated. The medical helicopter landed at Westview secondary. The area was roped off, with roads closed while the investigation continues. • More to follow.
