Pedestrian killed in Whalley

Surrey RCMP are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident in Whalley that occurred Tuesday night. Reports are that 2 men were jaywalking west to east in the 10700 block King George Blvd around 9:30 when one of them was struck by a northbound Honda Accord. A 29 yr old was pronounced deceased at the scene, the other man was no injured. Northbound lanes were closed for several hours while the accident was investigated
