barricaded man surrenders to MIERT after 6hr Standoff

At around 9pm last night police were called to a home on McDougal ave in Abbotsford after neighbors noticed a distraught man throwing things out of the window of his home. When police arrived the man refused to talk to them or come out of his house. In fact the man barricaded himself in his home. the Municipal Integrated Response team was called in.
