NOW Canada Enlists Support

KELOWNA...Miss Canada wants Kelowna to help NOW Canada win the Juicy Give, a contest by radio station The Juice 103.9 offering to award a minimum of $100,000 to the most popular charity and $50,000 in media support. Kelowna’s pageant queen Catherine Thomas was standing on a truck in front of The Juice radio station at Harvey and Gordon on Wednesday morning trying to get motorists’ attention. “We’re hoping that people will vote for NOW Canada. They would like to buy another safe home for the ladies and they’re desperately in need of it,” she said. June 17th 2009
