About This File
BRITISH COLUMBIA - Scott and Sara (they didn't want their last names in print) were enjoying their B.C. Day long weekend at Sakinaw Lake on the Sunshine Coast by fishing off a wharf.
With a healthy supply of Bud Light Lime, 45 SPF sunscreen and freshwater clams as bait, they set off in their pedal-powered watercraft hoping to snag a cutthroat or possibly rainbow trout to fry up for dinner.
Unfortunately, the fish were scared deeper into the waters - or so they said - by powerboat traffic, which was high during the long weekend.
