Christina Benty sworn in as Mayor of Golden

It was a packed house at the Town Council Chambers this afternoon as Christina Benty was sworn in as the new Mayor of Golden. Family, friends and supporters of Benty filled the chambers with applause as she was officially announced Mayor of Golden. Benty graciously thanked everyone for their support throughout the election and spoke of her appreciation for the current staff and council and her optimism for the future.
