Carrying the torch for Golden

GOLDEN - The Olympic Torch arrives in Golden on January 21, 2010. Mayor Christina Benty, Syd Feuz, official Town of Golden appointed Torch Bearer, and Lynne Romano, Co-Chair of the Olympic Torch Celebration Committee (not pictured), all made a stop at EZ Rock radio to talk about the upcoming celebrations in January. Syd Feuz, who comes from one of the original Golden pioneer families, said he was honoured to have been chosen. Mayor Benty said that this was going to be a great opportunity to showcase the community. Romano reminded everyone that there will be a week of events celebrating the Torch’s arrival in Golden.
